Meet the Team
James founded the Southernbrook Group back in 1982 when it was a residential lettings investment portfolio. Having grown that portfolio to a good size, alongside our Managing Director Louis, Southernbrook Lettings was created to give landlords a personal touch to their investment properties and ensure customer service is always key. Having worked in property for multiple decades, James’ passion for both property and customer service still radiate throughout the company and those ethics are installed throughout the team. Outside the office, James has a huge love of motorbikes and his dogs.
Louis is our Group Managing Director. Having grown with the Company since his younger years, he heads up the busy Lettings Team whilst also running the property investment arm. Louis brings experience in all things Property and is fully ARLA qualified, so there is no query that he cannot answer. He is also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. In his spare time (which is rare!) Louis can be found in the gym, managing his home refurbishments/projects and spending time with his young son – the Director-to-be!
Sharon is our Group Lettings Director and has been with the team for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge. ARLA qualified and TFP trained, Sharon is ultra-organised and is head of compliance, and looks after the property management department and accounts team. Sharon is the font of all knowledge when it comes to the legalities of the letting process and holds regular training sessions with the Team. In her spare time she can be found up to her hair in hay, looking after and riding her horse.
Joshua is our area lettings manager and responsible for overseeing all of our offices and ensuring each customer is getting the best service and keeping everything running smoothly. Joshua is your go-to for any property on a larger, more expensive scale or anything outside of the normal. Outside of work Joshua can be found in the gym or on the golf course.
Joe is our head of property management and is ARLA qualified. He manages the Property Management Team and oversees the progression of new lets through to completion, whilst ensuring that all properties are fully compliant with all legal documentation in place. Once a tenant has moved in, his team handle day to day tenancy queries, right through to check out and deposit returns. In his spare time, he can be found running around after his three boys and playing football.
Having worked in the industry for almost ten years, Tom has plenty of experience across West Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey and is equally happy dealing with anything from a city-centre apartment, a new build home or a rural country cottage. In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, watching Football and playing Golf.
Leon is our Property Manager and is part of the team looking after the Estate Management Division of the Southernbrook Group. Leon will be your main point of contact for any maintenance related issues alongside day to day queries and service charge payments. Whether it is a block of 2 flats or 100 flats, Southernbrook Estate Management would be more than happy to help!
Issy is one of our branch managers, primarily based in the Hampshire offices she brings over 30 years of lettings and property management to the team, Issy is on hand to deal with day to day queries, tenancy compliance and rental values. In her spare time Issy can be found socialising with her partner.
Having now worked with Southernbrook for two years, Dan has now worked his way up to Branch Manager of the Gosport Office, covering the Hampshire region. As the Branch Manger, Dan can assist all landlords to get the most out of their rental properties, from initial valuations, to advise on how to generate the most from your investment and day-to-day management of your property. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his friends and playing golf.
With 8 years property experience, and numerous awards under his belt, Jamie is your go to person for anything lettings related in Chichester. As branch manager he helps landlords to get the most out of their property. Have any queries or questions about renting out your property? Paige is your first point of contact when starting your renting journey. Paige can help register you, walk you through the process of renting and ultimately help you find your dream home. She’ll keep clients updated regarding new properties coming onto the market, assist with any queries you may have, and will likely be the person you’ll meet when viewing our properties. Paige also conducts mid term inspections on are managed properties. Outside of work she enjoys nothing more than a run along the seafront with her friends.
Angie joins our Gosport team having over a decade of experience working in property and particularly block management. Angie’s key characteristic is ensuring all our clients are happy and have the best experience when working with Southernbrook and going the extra mile to help. Outside of work, Angie likes attending music concerts and festivals.
Maddie is your point of contact for your initial enquiry through to applicant registration and arranging viewings. Maddie will be able to assist in finding your perfect home and keep applicants updated with new properties coming onto the market in the Chichester area. Maddie also conducts mid-term property inspections ensuring properties are being looked after and kept in order as well as handling any day to day tenancy queries. Outside of work Maddie likes to socialise with friends and family.
Darrel is a point of contact for your initial enquiry through to applicant registration and arranging viewings. He will be able to assist in finding your perfect home and keep applicants updated with new properties coming onto the market. Darrel also conducts mid-term property inspections ensuring properties are being looked after and kept in order as well as handling any tenancy queries. Outside of work Darrel likes to spent time with his family.
Corban is your point of contact for viewings, inspections and day to day queries. Corban is based across our West Sussex and Hampshire offices so will often see him across the South Coast. He will be able to answer any of your queries and ensure that all tenants will find their perfect homes. Outside of the office, Corban can be found in the gym or on the golf course.
Kate joins our team alongside the merger with HC Property. With multiple years of property experience, Kate is your day to day contact for anything Berkshire related. Whether its finding the perfect property for you as a tenant, any queries as a landlord or routine inspections, then Kate will be able to assist you. Outside of work, Kate loves spending time with her partner and young son.
Jess will guide you from your first inquiry through to the application and registration process. She aims to help applicants find their perfect home in Haslemere and close surrounding areas, whilst also keeping them informed of new listings. She also carries out property inspections keeping our landlords informed of how their properties are being looked after. Jess is always on call for general tenancy and letting queries. Off-duty Jess enjoys cooking and socialising with friends.
Amba is our lettings consultant in our Wokingham Office. Amba is your go to for any day to day queries and is a keen problem solver to ensure both landlord and tenant are as happy as possible. She will be working alongside Kate to ensure great customer service from start to finish and will assist in property viewings and property inspections. Outside of work, Amba enjoys spending time with her partner and friends and anything outdoors.
Chloe works within our property management team, she oversees all new tenancy applications, and prepares all the legal paperwork and document ready for move in, making sure tenants and landlords have a stress-free move as possible! She is also our student specialist ensuring that all students are ready and moved in for the start of their academic year. Outside of work Chloe likes to spend time with her partner, friends and at the cinema.
Georgia is our assistant property manager and works alongside Leon is our Estate Management team in ensuring all is running smoothly. She is on hand for any day to day queries, insurances, budgets, compliance certificates amongst many other things. Having worked in hospitality for many years, customer service is always a priority to Georgia and ensuring everyone is satisfied with our services. Outside of work, Georgia likes spending time with her family.
Jordan is based in our Bognor Regis office and will be your point of contact for handling applicant registration and viewings, whilst also helping ensure you find your perfect home and conducting mid-term inspections. Jordan enjoys going to the gym or playing American football in his spare time.
Kevin is our Accountant and is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day client accounts and payments across the businesses. He ensures that our clients are paid without delay and is in charge of credit control for the Group. In his spare time Kevin enjoys running and keeping fit!
Josh is part of our accounts team and is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day client accounts and payments across the businesses. He ensures that our clients are paid without delay and is in charge of credit control for the Group. In his spare time Josh enjoys gaming with friends.
Tina is another member of our Accounts team and is responsible for the Surrey accounts. She is responsible for paying all of the surrey payments without delay and can answer any account related queries. In Tinas spare time she likes to spend time with friends and family!
Wesley is part of our accounts team and is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day client accounts and payments across the businesses. He ensures that our clients are paid without delay and is in charge of credit control for the Group. In his spare time Wesley enjoys gaming with friends.
Rohit is our experienced mortgage advisor, specialising is buy to let mortgages and ensuring landlords are getting the best deal and return on their investment. Rohit will be happy to chat regarding any queries on your mortgage.
With over 30 years’ experience in business development, Justin has spent his career in helping companies grow through building strong, mutually beneficial relationships. At Southernbrook, Justin’s focus is on growing our existing proactive service to help others in joining the Southernbrook Group. Alongside his work in property, Justin also supports organisations navigating the challenges of reducing carbon emissions, helping them identify and implement practical, sustainable solutions. Outside of work, he is happiest outdoors—often with a fishing rod and also a big fan of Indian cuisine and enjoy winding down with a good box set.
